International Game Technology (IGT) has completed the first installation of its PeakBarTop cabinet in Spain, bringing the multi-game platform to the Knockout Sports Bar at Gran Madrid Casino Torrelodones.
The installation marks the first of IGT's Las Vegas-style bartop gaming experience to the Spanish market. For the first time in the region, players will have direct access to a variety of Game King content, such as video poker, slot games, blackjack, and keno, from the bar.
Sergio Rupérez, Gran Madrid's Head of Product and CRM, stated: "With a compelling lineup of popular casino games, the PeakBarTop differentiates our gaming floor and provides players with a world-class gaming experience right here in Spain."
The PeakBarTop cabinet includes a 23-inch curved full-HD monitor, a front-mounted ticket printer, a built-in card reader, and USB ports for charging mobile devices. It also incorporates Bluetooth connectivity for IGT's cashless systems, enabling for possible connection with mobile wallet technologies in regulated markets.
David Flinn, IGT SVP for Canada, EMEA, and LATAM Gaming Sales, stated, "We believe this will be the first of many installations across Europe that will allow our customers to expand their portfolios with innovative solutions."
For the sixth year in a row, IGT's subsidiary, IGT Lottery, received responsible gaming certification from the European Lotteries (EL) in March 2025. The supplier is also certified at the highest Level 4 by the World Lottery Association.

The PeakBarTop rollout is consistent with current trends in European land-based casinos, which are utilising integrated entertainment zones and cashless technologies to attract a new population of players.
